Of new techniques and tastes

I am unfamiliar with Japanese cuisine

but I love the way that their sushi rolls look

and I love trying new things

so this is my first try at making sushi

may not be the most authentic ones,
but they served as an introductory taste to the cuisine.

Those look really great for a first try. I don't eat fish but I am a fan of vegetarian sushis.

Hi, Naashia! =]

I had sushi for the first time only a couple of years ago. I was in grand central station in New York City - in the food mall - on my way to meet another photography Blog friend and it looked so good and I was craving fish and... it was DELICIOUS! The fish was SO fresh! I've tried to find it here in Vermont but I think that we're just too far from the ocean, maybe? (three hours drive) perhaps, I need to try and make my own? How'd it turn out, I wonder? Oh! It was good of course! =D

Your image of a frond is really lovely! So delicate! I struggled, last spring - it was constantly dark and raining. I'm really looking forward to another try, this year.

Anyhoo...

=] xxo
