thats a hard one. i'd pick the island, but i like being within a stones throw of the city. i love where I am now. i have a little garden oasis in the middle of bustle and it works. but the sea is far from me. so glad for you, Jennifer
Having been a city dweller all my life, I long for the peace and beauty of a small town. And by the way, a belated but very happy New Year to you, my friend! =)
Hello! I am so happy you are here. Come in, stay a while and make yourself comfortable. Here you will find images of how I see the world and words that form the thoughts in my mind as I try to make sense of life. Pull up a chair and join in the conversation.

The Tranquility of Island/village life, with the ability to be not any farther than about two hours from the vitality of a city. How's that? :-)
Hmmmm...they both have their advantages! It would be a hard choice!
Tranquility and peace! :) Your images both pull me in and make me wish I were there! :)
The island for sure.
As long as I could visit the city now and then.
Hugs

j'ai choisi depuis longtemps mais peut-être qu'en vieillissant, la ville serait plus facile? on verra bien
Choice made since allways, but perhaps, coming older, town could be more ... easier ? wait and see...
