what boils my blood

when i go to the beach and face rusted cans

plastic containers

and just general rubbish just strewn everywhere

i feel like screaming.

i get angry and sad and frustrated

that some of us just treat our surroundings as the rubbish dump.

i wonder what it would take to change that far too common mentality?

That is so sad...unbelievable in this day and age. I would be out there picking it up, I just could not stand it....but then it looks a bit overwhelming. Unreal.

Unfortunately, their homes probably look the same.

I agree. So sad and shocking.

I whole heartedly agree, Kamana. Shocking to see it in your part of the ocean. Here, closer to major cities, it's sadly, typical.

Yes, it's so sad and I react like you with anger when I see it.

I feel the same way. I earlier posted about the rubbish exposed in my area after the foliage no longer camouflaged it. What a shame that people think they can toss their stuff in the woods and no one will care! As you show, even the oceans aren't free of human trash.Ugly!

I dont' know what it's going to take to get humans to wake the BLANK up. Living like this only displays our fundalmental darkness. How we treat our earth is no different than they way we treat ourselves. There is not two lands. One good, one bad. There is only one. Humans can make a hell out of heaven and a heaven out of hell. The choice is ours. We just got to keep on chanting, praying. Cheers!!
