thoughts on thinking

sitting motionless
on the madhoshi plant
that sprouted from the seeds
thrown carelessly among the lillies
two moons ago,
its green body
blends into the background
does it ponder, as it waits
while the soft breath of the wind whispers
against its shimmering wings?
does it think any thoughts
as the day shrinks out of sight
and becomes forgotten?

How about...it feels
It does not thinks, but feels with all its senses?

What a poem of a post. Wow! Your words, your thoughts, your images - all feel like poetry to me this morning. Hello, friend.

It seems incomprehensible that living things should not think, but hard to imagine how they do. I love your treasures of the sea too!
