I wish they'd wash aeroplane windows better

Everytime I fly in
and see the ringlets of islands

spread out across the blue ocean

and hear the ooh and aah of the tourists glued to the aeroplane windows

I count my blessings

and marvel at the beauty of the place I call home.

Welcome home, Kamana... Way is great, but home is best, isn't it?! LOVED seeing all your photos from while you were away... Hope you're setting in at home again and enjoying time with your family. :o) ((HUGS))

Yes, how inconsiderate to all photographers on board. We pay all that cash for a window seat and then those windows are all smeared up with sky slime. Still you caught the magic of flying, anyway. How fortunate you got a sunny day to work with!

I LOVE taking shots out of the windows and have a huge number of them. I always thought someday I would do a whole show devoted to that topic. Beautiful!!

Such a beautiful homecoming, Kamana! I feel the same when I fly home to the Caribbean and see that aquamarine water, white sand and palm trees swaying.

I love traveling so much and it's been awful for me in the two years since my job ended. I miss going to the airport and heading off to far off destnations, the planning of a journey, reading up on all the things to see and do, checking to see if there are forensic colleagues in my chosen locales, even the packing is fun to me. And I also miss the joy of coming home.

Welcome back to your lovely island and thank you for sharing your New Orleans trip with me. It's one of the U. S. place I've called home.

Happy for you that you come back. Children surely miss you, and you them...
Hope you are not too tired with this long travel.
You made me interest to this little part of USA, with your nice pictures, and funny last ones especially. I thought this land was not attractive for me, but... may be New Orleans is different ... more in real life... or simply you are the best to show things i like to see. Greatings.
