Snapshot or photograph?

"Beauty can be seen in all things,
seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph."
~Matt Hardy~

Hmmm... does that make these snapshots or photographs?

i think it's more about from where you're coming than the image you produce. but i agree when it comes to photographs that you need to take the additional step and actually be thoughtful about how you compose what you're seeing.
thank you!

It appears as if I can just reach out and pick it off my screen. Beautiful! Love the drops of dew or rain on it!

For me, i'll try to remember this quote...
For you, no questions, i'am sure you are a photograph, a very good one. And good teaching your art.

I don't care what you call them...they are great! Is beauty and art really in the eye of the beholder? I would think so. I consider myself a photographer even though my Flickr name is Snapshotie!!

As soon as you put your eye to the shutter and consciously decide what to include and what to leave out, where to place it in the frame (or even how to crop it afterwards) that's composition, isn't it? I do know people who still take snapshots without any apparent regard for this but very few of them have blogs or flickr accounts... ;)

Either way, these are gorgeous!
