I woke up to the sound of this and a cheer of birthday greetings from my two little angels.
They'd woken up early, blown up balloons, and hung them around the living room. 
And put up party decorations.
On the dining table was a small package wrapped in crepe paper.
A handmade gift and the sweetest card.
Aint I a lucky girl?

You are a lucky girl. Those hand made gifts from our special ones will supersede any commercial presents you will get in the future. That is how I look at it. I still carry around those little love messages from my 3 year olds - to remind myself of their love now that they are 14 and no longer seem to want me around. Enjoy these times - they really are very fleeting.
