Quiet Reflections

In the midst of rushing around, trying to get a million and one things done in the limited time that there always is (can't someone invent more hours in the day, somehow???), there's often no time for quiet reflections.
It's always rush, rush, rush.
Today, let me pause.
Let me take time out.
Let me breathe.
Let me be.
Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action.

Peter Drucker

Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make, Something you do, Something you are, And something you give away.

Robert Fulghum

Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.

John Lubbock

The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good. Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom.

Kamana, this post is exactly where I am right now. I need to reprioritise my time. I have decided to stop commenting so that I am able to carry on reading my favourite blogs. Please know that I am still here although it might seem that I have gone. I enjoy your space.

My business is growing and I just need to focus my time very carefully at present.

This is perfect - I too am realizing how important it is to have really solid down time. Love all your quotes, especially from Robert Fulghum (love him!): yes, I need to make my own peace.

Your photos are also so peaceful - thank you!

I absolutely love the new picture of the purple flowers! And the lilypads...they seem to invite quietness & retrospection.

Love the new banner!

I had to take some time to enjoy to promote my own peace of mind, body and soul...I am so with you.

I love this post! The pictures are perfect - peaceful and reflective. And the quotes... oh you know how I have a soft spot for a good quotation! The Robert Fulghum one is especially lovely and speaks to me today.

I hope you've found a moment to truly pause today?

And thank you for your lovely comment on my post today - I love that we've connected! :)

Such wonderful, powerful quotes you've chosen. I feel so blessed in that I've had about two weeks now to truly pause and reflect and relax. Pure heaven.
